The Oklahoma Christian men's soccer team advanced to the second round of the Sooner Athletic Conference playoffs by defeating Oklahoma City University 1-0 here Nov. 1.

A goal by senior Chase Hawkins in the first 10 seconds of the play was enough to defeat the Stars. The Eagles raised their record to 13-5-1 with the win.

OC is scheduled to play Southern Nazarene University in the semifinal round at 8 p.m. on Nov. 4 at the Edmond Soccer Complex on Field 11 (south end of the complex).
