Winter weather wipes out 3 OC games in UCO softball event
OKLAHOMA CITY (Feb. 21, 2013) – Winter weather in Oklahoma the past two days has resulted in the cancellation of three scheduled Oklahoma Christian softball games in an event hosted by Central Oklahoma, OC coach Tom Heath said Thursday.
OC had been scheduled to face Missouri Southern and Cameron on Friday in Choctaw and Emporia State (Kan.) on Saturday in Edmond. But wet field conditions at both sites resulted in UCO having to call off the event.
The games will not be rescheduled. The Lady Eagles’ next games will be Tuesday at Texas Woman’s in Denton, Texas.
