Rain washes out OC series at Texas-Arlington

OKLAHOMA CITY (April 2, 2013) – Rain in north Texas has resulted in the cancellation of Oklahoma Christian’s baseball games at Texas-Arlington on Tuesday and Wednesday. The games will not be rescheduled.

Rain fell overnight in the region and up to two inches is forecast during the coming days. The Eagles had been set to play UTA – coached by former OC standout Darin Thomas – in what would have been OC’s first games against an NCAA Division I foe since 2010.

OC’s next games will be against local rival Central Oklahoma. OC (18-15) will host the Bronchos on Friday at 6:30 p.m., then visit UCO for a 2 p.m. Saturday game.
