WINONA LAKE, Ind. (March 10, 2013) – Oklahoma Christian learned late Saturday who it would play in the opening round of the National Christian College Athletic Association Championship this week. Now the rest of the bracket has been announced.

OC will be seeded third and will play sixth-seeded Spring Arbor at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at Grace (Ind.) College.

The other first-round games will pit top-seeded Fresno Pacific (Calif.) against eighth-seeded Roberts Wesleyan (N.Y.), second-seeded Cedarville (Ohio) against seventh-seeded Tennessee Temple and fourth-seeded Mid-America Christian against fifth-seeded Shorter (Ga.).

If OC beats Spring Arbor, the Eagles would face the Cedarville-Tennessee Temple winner in the semifinals on Thursday at 8:45 p.m. If OC loses, it would play the Cedarville-Tennessee Temple loser in consolation play at 1:45 p.m. Thursday.

Fresno Pacific, Roberts Wesleyan, Shorter and OC all are in the NCAA Division II membership process and all but Roberts Wesleyan are new members of the NCCAA. Cedarville is a full NCAA Division II member.

The only teams in the tournament that OC has played before are MACU (a former Sooner Athletic Conference rival) and Tennessee Temple, which the Eagles beat 63-61 during the 1985-86 season.
