MARANA, Ariz. (May 23, 2013) – Oklahoma Christian women’s golf coach Greg Lynn finished 37th this week in the Trans-Mississippi Senior Championship, one of the nation’s most prestigious amateur tournaments.

The three-day tournament ended Thursday at the par-72, 6,557-yard course at The Gallery Golf Club. Lynn posted a final score of 26-over 242.

“It was a tough golf course and I putted poorly,” Lynn said.

Lynn shot a 75 in Tuesday’s first round, recording three birdies along the way. He followed with a second-round 84 on Wednesday and closed with an 83 on Thursday, posting a birdie on the course’s longest hole, the par-5, 575-yard No. 9.

Lynn was one of 50 players who played in the tournament, which was conducted by Trans-Mississippi Golf Association, one of the oldest golf organizations in the U.S. The Trans-Miss is composed of more than 200 member clubs located throughout the country.
