OKLAHOMA CITY (May 4, 2013) – There will be no national-tournament appearance for Oklahoma Christian’s softball team this season.

The Lady Eagles, who dropped the National Christian College Athletic Association Central Region title game last Saturday to Central Baptist (Ark.), were set to travel to southwest Virginia for the NCCAA Championship if Central Baptist had won its conference tournament title to qualify for the NAIA Championship.

But Central Baptist dropped a pair of games in its conference tournament on Friday and Saturday to Bellevue (Neb.), eliminating CBC from NAIA tournament consideration. Central Baptist thus will play in the NCCAA event next week.

OC finished its season at 22-22, having played only seven home games all season.
