Grayson OF Rosser signs to play baseball at OC
DENISON, Texas (May 22, 2013) – Robert Rosser, a left-handed hitting outfielder who spent this past season at Grayson (Texas) College, has signed a letter of intent to play baseball at Oklahoma Christian, OC coach Lonny Cobble said Wednesday.
The 6-foot-3, 210-pound Rosser, who is from Denison, Texas, hit .306 with one home run, eight doubles and 26 RBIs last season for Grayson, which finished 40-15.
Cobble said Rosser could potentially fill the void left by departing center fielder Dillon Andrews, a left-handed hitter who led the Eagles in hitting in 2013.
“He hit in the four-hole at Grayson and hit well for those guys,” Cobble said. “Robert can hit with power. He’s a guy who is going to give us some pop from the left side of the plate.”
