DeGrazia makes NCCAA final statistics list in assists

OKLAHOMA CITY (Jan. 7, 2013) – Oklahoma Christian forward-midfielder Domenico DeGrazia finished 18th in per-game assists in the final National Christian College Athletic Association men’s soccer statistics, released Monday.

DeGrazia, a sophomore from Caracas, Venezuela, had seven assists in 16 games this season for the Eagles, a per-game average of 0.44. With eight goals this season to go with his seven assists, DeGrazia averaged 1.44 points per game, .03 outside the NCCAA’s top 25 in that category.

DeGrazia received a slew of awards after the 2012 season, making the second-team honor lists of the Heartland Conference, the NCCAA’s Central Region, the National Soccer Coaches Association of America’s NCAA Division II South Central Region and the Daktronics NCAA Division II South Central Region.

OC finished 8-9 this past season. The Eagles finished 20th in the NCCAA in team points per game at 5.76.
