OKLAHOMA CITY (July 1, 2014) – If you want to watch Oklahoma Christian’s women’s golf team in action close to home, you’ll have several chances this fall.

OC coach Greg Lynn announced the Lady Eagles’ fall-season schedule on Tuesday and three of his team’s tournaments will be in Oklahoma – including two in Oklahoma City.

The Lady Eagles will open the campaign on Sept. 15-16 in the annual Susie Maxwell Berning Classic, hosted by crosstown rival Oklahoma City University at Lincoln Park Golf Club’s West Course.

A week later, on Sept. 22-23, OC will play in the first National Christian College Athletic Association Central Region Championship, which will be hosted by Oklahoma Wesleyan at Page Belcher Golf Course in Tulsa. The tournament will serve as a qualifier for the inaugural NCCAA Championship for women.

On Oct. 6-7, the Lady Eagles will return to Lincoln Park and play on the East Course in the RCB Bank UCO Classic, hosted by the University of Central Oklahoma. OC finished second in the power-packed tournament last year, beating three ranked NCAA Division II foes in the process.

OC will close the fall season with a pair of out-of-state trips. On Oct. 13-14, the Lady Eagles will play in the Dallas Baptist Fall Classic at The Golf Club of Dallas.

Then will come a journey to Panama City Beach, Fla., for the NCCAA Championship at The Hombre Golf Club from Oct. 27-29. OC finished third last year and second in 2012 in the tournament formerly known as the NCCAA Invitational.
